About Screw Classifier
The dry feed material 0-5mm from the crushing plant is combined with water in the fabricated tank equipped with a slow moving Screw Classifier, where decantation with low turbulence flow occurs. Water with a particle size of (-) 150 microns will be carried away by the flowing water on the opposite side, collected in a weir, and discharged outside. The washed/classified cleaned sand is produced by rotating the Screw Classifier against the flow of the water. The rotating screw will lift the cleaned sand, and the sand will discharge from the other end of the equipment.
